MAKEUP BASICS FOR BEGINNERS

 

It is always beautiful when you stay as you are. But it annoys you up when you don't know how to do makeup but have to do it anyway. It may be because of some function or just your insecurities. Its different for those who love makeup. Also, the tornado of beauty products out there are all for the high level makeup and the better ways to do it. But, the difference here is that I will be providing the order in which you need to apply makeup products along with the uses of each. 

1. Cleanser
2. Serum
3. Moisturizer
4. Primer
5. Foundation
6. Concealer
7. Powder
8. Bronzer
9. Blush
10. Highlight

CLEANSER : it is for normal face wash and helps clearing your pores from dirt.

SERUM : it is for enriching the skin and making it ready for the further steps of makeup.

MOISTURIZER and PRIMER : These are used to prepare a base. Primer can also be replaced with essential oils. It helps making the skin absorb the creams and not give a bulky look.

FOUNDATION : this is basically used according to the skin type/nature of the skin and the type of foundation you are using(eg: oil based).

CONCEALER : this is to conceal or to hide the blemishes from appearing over your skin. If you are a beginner, you may skip this. Check out my DIY blemish reducing formula here-

POWDER : this helps the makeup to settle down and you can also use a bb powder here.

BRONZER and BLUSH : these are used to give extra detailing to your face. Here you can also contour your skin. Light lipstick can be used as a blusher.

HIGHLIGHT: This is the consecutive step to contour and if you dont have a highlighter, you may use a lip gloss to highlight certain parts.

             After these, you may apply your mascara and do eye makeup if you insist.
