Keep your soul happy
"Loving yourself, accepting your flaws, cherishing moments, being kind......." you might have heard these quite a lot. But when asked 'if you ever apply them'..... we have a straight NO on our lips. While reading articles on self care, we just think that we cannot do these things as its after all, a waste of time and we end up getting frustrated. If we look at the reality, it's not at all a waste. You cannot understand the feeling of pleasure derived from something unless you experience it. And to enjoy life, you must keep your ego aside and become a learner and experience new things.

• Playing childhood games
• Taking a bubble bath
• DIY face pack from household items ( )
• Social works
• Reconnecting with old friends
• Cooking (even if you don't know how to)
• Going to gardens amongst nature
• Pamper yourself with favourite chocolate, favourite drink, favourite icecream, favourite fast food, favourite......etc.
• Shopping or simply window shopping
• Nurturing your hobby
• Looking at any of your collections
• Going to a restaurant you have never visited and trying dishes you have never tasted
• Trying something really new to you
Here are some of the acts of kindness which will keep your heart content and can be a cause of happiness for someone else too.
• Free rides to kids
• Getting your favourite dish to a beggar
• Gifting chocolates to random people on your birthday
• Lovely, small notes on car windshield
• Keeping roses, balloons on people's doorsteps
