It is not that you don't have any knowledge about dressing, but you find it difficult to pair up things according to places and people. No doubt, you should wear what you want but sometimes even you strive to make your appearance different. • Understand your type of fashion
You firstly need to know of you are a person of funky style or simplicity. Also, in both these types, there are various fields. It can be chic, vintage, bohemian, casual, formal, exotic and vibrant. Its not that you cannot be a chic by being simply clothed. You need to first choose which colour palette you like when most. If it goes on the colourful and vibrant side, you can dress up bohemian (the gypsy patterns), artsy and exotic (unique designs). If it's more concerned with simple and pastel colours, you can be classy, formal, casual and any more.

Wearing a colourful top with jeans is not the only qualification for being funky. The same way, pastel pants with top cannot make you classy. What makes you different is the accessories you carry with it. You can take a:

• Don't copy the crowd
If you want to appear different, make an inspiration (which can be any fashion influencer) and follow only him/her. If you don't know about the fashion trendsetters and influencers, they are the people whose style is eye catchy. They help in setting the trends and can be any actor, dancer, singer Don't go like following the common designs and what the world wears. The people who became influencers were not following the world. That's why they have a distinct identity. (It's okay if you come across a very beautiful dress of any other person and buy it).
